In the 2011 Budget debate the States Assembly agreed a level of public spending in 2012 and 2013 which incorporates a savings target of £65 million.

The reports below identify potential savings across the States. The targets described in these reports are being evaluated by departments for final inclusion in the 2012 and 2013 Business Plans.

States of Jersey budget proposals

The budget proposals for 2011 - 2013 were released by the Treasury and Resources Minister, Senator Philip Ozouf, on 22 October 2010. The proposals report, which you can find below, shows the breakdown of the savings target by department, as well as information about growth and user pays proposals.
