The 2026 Marine Support Scheme opened for applications on 2 February 2026.
The Marine Support Scheme (MSS) provides financial support to the marine sector while adhering to international trade rules. A grant delivery method rewards local businesses using a points based ‘marine credit’ system to calculate support payments.
Credits are awarded to each business for a range of activities and converted to a grant payment at a standard rate.
