In 2023, Agricultural land covered 4,561 hectares (25,359 vergées), which is 39% of the Island’s area (64,612 vergées).
Of which:
- 1,472 vergées (264.7 ha) organic land
- 13,212 vergées (2,376.3 ha) cover crops
- 580 vergées (104.3 ha) local market crops
