​​The Genuine Jersey mark and what it means

Items carrying the Genuine Jersey mark have been reared, grown and caught in Jersey and / or created by accredited Islanders and local businesses who qualify to be members of the Genuine Jersey Products Association.

Genuine Jersey produce and products can be bought around the Island in galleries, tourist attractions, restaurants, pubs and more. Products include:

  • dairy goods
  • fruit and vegetables
  • meat, poultry, fish and shellfish
  • wines, spirits and beers
  • jewellery, pottery, needlework, glassware and other handicrafts and artworks

About Genuine Jersey membership

Genuine Jersey was launched to promote the diversity and quality of local produce and products. It's funded by members' subscriptions and the Economic Development Department.

Membership of Genuine Jersey offers a range of benefits - from using the mark on your packaging, products and advertising to getting access to events, special rates, and professional advice.
