The ICC is a free service offering confidential support and guidance for people arriving and living in Jersey.
ICC grant application opening dates
ICC grant applications open on Monday 2 February 2026 and close on Sunday 1 March 2026.
The ICC grant scheme is designed to support community led initiatives that:
- strengthen social connection
- reduce isolation
- enhance the wellbeing of Jersey’s culturally diverse population
This scheme reflects the ICC’s commitment to ensuring that Islanders have access to reliable information, appropriate support, and meaningful opportunities to feel connected and included.
Through grants of up to £5,000, the ICC enables local organisations to deliver:
- local events
- educational activities
- wellbeing initiatives
- community building programmes that promote cultural and international diversity
- contribute to a stronger, more connected Jersey
The aims of the grant scheme include:
- strengthening social connection by supporting projects that bring people together
- reducing social isolation among Islanders from diverse cultural and international backgrounds
- enhancing wellbeing through activities that improve emotional, social, and community health
- fostering inclusion and unity across the Island by encouraging shared experiences and cross cultural and international understanding
- supporting community development through programmes that build a sense of belonging and active participation in Island life
Grant scheme criteria
We have kept the application criteria as open as possible to encourage a wide range of creative project proposals. An independent panel will assess applications and award funding to projects that deliver the greatest benefits across the scheme’s 5 aims.
To apply for an ICC grant, projects must:
- Take place in Jersey and directly support people living on the Island
- Align with the ICC’s aims: such as promoting connection, reducing isolation, enhancing wellbeing, fostering inclusion and strengthening community belonging
- The project should have a clear plan, defined timeframe, and achievable outcomes
- Demonstrate accessibility and inclusivity: activities should be open to people from a range of cultural and international backgrounds and encourage participation
- Provide a realistic and transparent budget: showing good use of funds and value for money

Access to Case Workers
Where dedicated case workers help with exploring options and find practical solutions to your issues.
Support for your rights and wellbeing to help with understanding your rights with living and working in Jersey. Links to organisations to protect your wellbeing and resolve disputes or concerns that may arise in your daily life.
Confidential and personalised service
The ICC is a confidential service, making sure your privacy is always protected. The team are flexible and can meet in locations that are convenient and comfortable for you.
Once you contact the ICC, you will be offered an initial meeting where a member of the team will meet you to understand the support or signpost you to the services you may need. We'll work with you to look at solutions.
You may be offered a follow-up appointment to ensure they understand your needs and start to plan how to improve your situation.
You will kept informed of any developments related to the challenges that you have identified and look for positive resolutions. Your situation will be monitored with follow-up contact, to make sure the issues you have raised have been addressed.
The ICC are proactive in the community and host regular drop-in sessions across the Island to enable an informal conversation about issues you are concerned about.
