About the Jersey anthem
The Jersey anthem is a symbol of our Island’s unique community and heritage.
It aims to invoke a sense of unity amongst all Islanders for the past, present and future.
The song Beautiful Jersey was formalised as Jersey's local anthem in 2025 by States Assembly ahead of the 80 years anniversary of Liberation Day.
When it's used
Beautiful Jersey can be sung at sporting and cultural events where Jersey is represented independently of the UK.
The official national anthem remains God Save the King.
