Mobile and home library

Home library service

The home library service is for people who can't get to the library because of health or mobility problems, or if you're a full time carer.

You can also use it temporarily, such as when you're recovering from an operation.

What we do

We can visit you and deliver all kinds of books, including large print and audio books on tape or CD.

Our staff can visit you at home to explain about the service and discuss the types of books you enjoy reading.

If you want to read a particular book, we'll try and find a copy for you.

Residential homes

We deliver collections of books to nursing homes and day care centres for residents to enjoy.

Mobile library service

The mobile library stops at over 30 places around the Island each week, so that you can borrow books from us even if you can't visit the town or Les Quennevais branch libraries.

You can use the mobile library if you have a library card.

Search this map to find your closest mobile library stop

Stops and routes for the mobile library

You'll need to check the date, time and location of the mobile library, and then check what week that route is running.
