Jersey Homebuy

Changes to Policy H1 of the Island Plan which agreed to the sale of homes on 2 sites through a deferred payment scheme were approved by the States on 10 July 2008. 

The scheme will allow qualifying first time buyers to purchase 1 of around 60 homes at 65% of the first time buyer value.  Qualification will be limited to families with a gross joint income of between £40,000 and £60,000 per annum which will be subject to verification.

The first site to be included in the Jersey Homebuy scheme was La Providence, at Goose Green (pictured right).
