Children's authors perform at Jersey Library

07 August 2012

The pair, known as ‘The 2 Steves’, will be presenting 3 interactive performances including ‘Action Dogs’ which they premiered at this year’s Hay Festival.

Fellow author Chris d’Lacey says “Their books are perfect for performance. To fully appreciate these 2, they have to be seen and heard. No amount of adjectives really do them justice.”

Together they are one of Britain's most popular comedy writing and performing double acts for young people. The 2 Steves met over 20 years ago when they were both teaching in Nottingham. Since then they have written over 150 books together, including the new Action Dogs series for Usborne. They also travel the world performing at festivals and in schools where their shows are described as "Hilarious... brilliant... and mad."

Principal Librarian Cathy Bithell says that she is delighted to have authors of this caliber performing at the library. “The shows will be hugely entertaining and should not be missed.”

Tickets are free and available from the Library. For more information please contact Jersey Library.
