Police investigating 2-car collision

02 July 2012

Police are investigating the cause of a collision at St Aubin, when one car overturned and a driver was treated in hospital.

The collision, involving 2 cars, happened on Friday evening just after 11am. The driver of the overturned car was safely removed by the paramedic and police crews.

Commander Andy Gallie said "The driver of the overturned vehicle was taken to hospital by paramedics so any injuries could be fully assessed and treated. When the vehicle overturned it was damaged in the area where the driver's head would have been."

The scene and vehicles were made safe and firefighters helped the Police to right the overturned car, so the road could be re-opened as soon as possible.
