Reduced mooring fees for winter berths

​​Jersey Marinas is offering a discount on mooring fees of up to 25% for boat owners who may wish to moor their vessel at Elizabeth Marina over the winter season.

The Group Commercial Director for Ports of Jersey, Myra Shacklady, said "We made a number of temporary berths available to boat owners who are vacating St Aubin’s Harbour during the forthcoming dredging project. As a result we have remaining space available in Elizabeth Marina, which we are pleased to offer to the boating community at an attractive discount.

"It will be of particular interest to those who may wish to keep their boat in the water during the winter or to people who are considering selling their boat, as it will be easier for prospective buyers to trial and inspect."

Berths will be allocated on a first-come basis and are available for a minimum of three months between 1 November 2012 and 30 April 2013.

Reduced rates start from £17.50 per metre per month. Anyone interested should contact the Marine Leisure Centre on the New North Quay, telephone +44 (0) 1534 448807 or email marinas@gov.je.
