Ministerial drop-in meeting in St Mary

04 November 2015

The Council of Ministers is holding a ministerial drop-in meeting next week. The session will be on Tuesday 10 November from 7.30-9pm at St Mary’s Parish Hall.

People can drop in at any point within the allotted time and speak personally to the Chief Minister and a number of other ministers about any issues that concern them.

The ministers attending on Tuesday evening are Senators Ian Gorst, Alan Maclean, Andrew Green and Lyndon Farnham; Deputies Kristina Moore, Steve Luce, Susie Pinel, Anne Pryke, Rod Bryans and Eddie Noel.

Listening

This meeting is part of a series of online Question and Answer sessions, public drop-ins and other events which are being held to explain policy decisions to islanders and to listen to their concerns.

The Home Affairs Minister, Deputy Kristina Moore, will be hosting an online Q&A session on Twitter from 5-6pm on Wednesday 25th November. Ministers have been taking their turn to host a session a month throughout the year.

These opportunities for Islanders to explain their concerns and question ministers directly are being arranged to support the Council’s aim to communicate directly with Islanders.
