£516,000 worth of cannabis seized

​Customs and Immigration officers have seized approximately 31 kilos of cannabis with an estimated street value of £516,000.

The seizure was made on Friday 15 January after officers examined a car disembarking the Condor Ferry arriving in Jersey from Poole.   

A man, aged 51, from Dorset has been charged with importing drugs into Jersey and is due to appear in court on 18 January 2016.
