Number plates auction

Short or easy to remember number plates are up for auction at 10.30am on Saturday 8 October 2016 at The Great Hall at Highlands College (doors open 9am).

J004 is amongst the numbers up for auction. There are also some sequential numbers which include JSY36 and JSY37, J1496 and J1497, JSY43 and JSY44, and JSY81, JSY82 and JSY83. There are 50 numbers in all.

Deputy Eddie Noel, Minister for Infrastructure said “We have another interesting selection of numbers in this auction.  Just one J00 number this time which may lead to some competitive bidding.”

As well as annual auctions, DVS also has an online list for reservation of five and six digit registration numbers available for purchase for £250 at DVS offices.


Income from auction sales pays for essential DVS equipment and other transport related items.
