Road resurfacing on St Aubin’s Inner Road

Work to resurface a section of St Aubin’s Inner Road will start during the school October half-term holiday.

On Sunday 23 October, resurfacing will begin between Tyneville Lane and Bellozanne Road. This section of road is in great need of repair as it is showing fatigue primarily due to utility trenches and age. The work will continue until Friday 4 November.

To minimise disruption, work will be carried out weekday evenings between 7pm and 11pm and on Sundays from 8am to 8pm. It will be necessary to close the road completely during these working hours for safety reasons. Traffic lights will also be in use between 9.15am and 3pm on weekdays.  There is no work planned for Saturdays.

Access to premises within the closure will be maintained, however this may be restricted when the final road surface is being laid.

Diversions will be in place via Victoria Avenue. All buses will follow the diversions during the road closures, and temporary bus stops will be located at First Tower.
