Consultation into safety on Route Orange

19 November 2018

A drop-in session is being held at La Moye School from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday 21 November, for the public to give their view on how safety could be improved for walkers and cyclists along Route Orange around La Moye School and Les Creux Country Park.

The Parish of St Brelade, and Growth, Housing and Environment, are working together to understand the community concerns so proposals can be developed as part of the Safer Routes to School programme.

Residents and users of the area are invited to drop-in at the event at which a technical team will be on hand to answer questions. Views will be captured with questionnaires, and respondents are particularly asked to set out the difficulties they face with accessing the school and park.

Anyone unable to attend the drop in will be able to access the information and survey online. Anyone who would like to comment in writing can do so by writing by Wednesday 5 December to:

Transport, Growth, Housing and Environment
PO Box 412
St Helier
JE4 8UY

All the feedback will be reviewed together with other factors and proposals developed.
