28 May 2019

On Friday [24 May], Customs and Immigration Officers seized approximately 9.7 kilograms of cannabis resin and a commercial quantity of powder, suspected to be MDMA (ecstasy), from a vehicle driven by a Polish national, which had arrived by ferry from Poole.

Lukasz Przydanek, aged 39, resident in Liverpool, has been charged with the importation of cannabis. He appeared in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday [27 May] and was remanded in custody until his next court appearance in June.

The cannabis seized has an estimated local street value of £197,000.
