Taskforce report

In 2022, the Minister for Justice and Home Affairs established a Taskforce to tackle violence against women and girls (VAWG) in Jersey.

The independent Taskforce engaged with victim-survivors, children and young people, professional services and the general public to research and report on the problems of violence against women and girls on the Island.

The Taskforce report is the outcome of the research undertaken to better understand the nature, extent, and experiences of VAWG in Jersey. It provides recommendations for government and other key stakeholders to reduce such violence in all its forms and to improve the support available for victim-survivors.
