We only produce a limited amount and they’re only available for a limited time.
We issue commemorative coins:
- to promote the Island
- for worldwide collectors
- to generate income for the States of Jersey

Commemorative coins for 2017
During 2017 we’re issuing the following commemorative coins:
First World War Centenary (part 4): ‘British Leaders’
A series of coins featuring the most influential and well-known leaders from the war including:
- Lord Kitchener
- King George V
- Earl Haig, who founded the Royal British Legion
Sapphire Jubilee: 65th Anniversary of the Queen’s Accession
Celebrating 65 years since the Queen first came to the throne in 1952.
One design will be issued in various specifications, and the other will be part of a collection with other British Isles and Commonwealth countries.
Millennial Anniversary of the Coronation of King Canute: One off design
Celebrating 1000 years since the Coronation of King Canute.
King Canute originally came to England as a Viking Warrior in 1015 and just two years later he was crowned King of England. Historians have called him “the most effective king in Anglo-Saxon history”.
The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight 60th Anniversary: One off design
Celebrating 60 years since the formation of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, one of the most well-known Royal Air Force squadrons in the world.
Officially approved by the Royal Air Force and Ministry Of Defence.
Royal British Legion poppy coins
Jersey poppy coins are endorsed by the British Legion and coincide with Remembrance Day in November.
