Salting the roads
The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) is responsible for salting the main roads in the event of snow / ice.
All the priority main routes will be salted first, followed by the remaining scheduled main A, B, and C roads and footpaths.
Parish roads are the responsibility of the relevant parish.
