About Job Station

If you are locally qualified and registered as actively seeking work then you can use Job Station to search for work. You do not need to make an appointment to attend Job Station but you do need to be a registered job seeker and you will need to sign in on arrival.

Job Station gives you free:

  • access to computers and the internet
  • expert help with job searching
  • daily CV workshops
  • CV and covering letter production
  • telephone use
  • postage
  • help with job applications
  • advice on job seeking techniques
  • help with interview preparation
  • help with Talentlink when applying for States of Jersey jobs
  • online skills testing and training

Job Station opening times and location

Job Station is based on the ground floor at Eagle House on Don Road. It is open from 8.45am to 5pm on working days.

About Job Club

Job Club provides more focused support for people who are actively seeking work. Sessions at Job Club cover specific skills including:

  • updating your CV
  • applications
  • using social media in your job search
  • telephone skills / cold calling
  • cover and speculative letters
  • covering gaps in your CV
  • finding the right job for you

Booking into Job Club

You can only book an appointment for Job Club through your employment advisor. You should ask if you feel a session at Job Club may help you.

Job Club opening times and locations

Job Club is held at two different locations:

  • Eagle House Job Club, Don Road
  • Job Club, La Colomberie

Your advisor will be able to tell you which location to attend and at what time.
