Draft Bridging Island Plan Examination in Public (EiP): Publication of Further Representations and updated EiP Programme

Context

The Inspectors appointed to hold the EiP of the draft Bridging Island Plan invited further  representations (in relation to certain matters) to be made during the period 11 October to 22 October 2021. 

Publication 

The duly made representations received by the Inspectors have now been published alongside an updated EiP Programme (4 November 2021). The further representations and revised EiP Programme can be viewed here: www.gov.je/IslandPlanEiP

The Inspectors have given their full consideration to the substantive points raised in the further representations and have made revisions to the EiP Programme, where appropriate. Additional participants have also been selected for the thematic hearing sessions and have been invited accordingly. 

Next steps

The published EiP Programme is unlikely to be subject to further substantive change at this stage prior to the opening of the EiP hearing sessions, which are scheduled to commence at 10am on Monday 15 November 2021.
