Electoral Assembly

A nomination meeting will be held on Tuesday 19 April 2022 at Trinity Parish Hall at:

  • 7pm to elect 1 Centenier for a 3 year term of office expiring June 2025
  • 7.15pm to elect 1 Centenier for a term of office expiring December 2023. This is due to the resignation from the role of the holder of that office

In respect of both nomination meetings:

  • all electors are welcome to attend
  • a nomination form for the candidate for election must be produced to the meeting and must be completed by a proposer and 9 seconders who are electors in the parish. It's recommended that this be verified with the Parish office beforehand
  • should there be more candidates than vacancies a poll with be held on Wednesday 8 June 2022. In the event that only one candidate is nominated they will be declared duly elected at the nomination meeting
  • to vote in this election you must have registered by midday on 18 April 2022

Copies of the previous minutes to be approved will be available in draft from the Public Hall, during office hours, from 9am on Wednesday 13 April 2022, and immediately prior to the Assembly on Tuesday 19 April 2022.

Parish Assembly

An Assembly of the Principals and Electors of the Parish of Trinity will be held in the Parish Hall on Tuesday 19 April 2022 at 7.30pm to:

  1. consider an application by the Trinity Arms for an Annual Entertainment Permit from the Bailiff which will allow music to be played inside the building until 10.30pm and outside the building in the alfresco area until 7pm
  2. appoint one Constable’s Officer for the Vingtaine of Rozel
  3. to consider and, if deemed advisable, vote a sum of money towards the Parish Celebrations of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee
  4. to consider and, if deemed advisable, vote a sum of money as a Parish contribution to the Bailiff’s Ukraine Appeal
