About the consultation

​The Chief Minister’s Department is consulting on the draft Regulations permitting the demerger of Jersey companies. The aim of this consultation is to invite comments on those draft Regulations. 

The Companies (Amendment No. 11) (Jersey) Law 2014 introduced an enabling provision into the Companies (Jersey) Law 1991 to allow the States to make regulations to permit the demerger of Jersey companies. Such Regulations have been drafted and form the basis of this consultation.
