Teacher salaries (FOI) ​

The number of teachers in Jersey at each increment of the teachers’ pay scale (including the upper pay spine).

Please see attached the number of teachers in Jersey at each increment of the teachers’ pay scale.

Please note the data includes Government of Jersey employees and only counts employees once for their main role, as they may work in more than one school. Data also excludes any employee on a ‘zero hours’ contract.

B

Please see attached a breakdown of the number of teachers who have each Supplementary Allowance Point.

Please note this is for the total number of Government of Jersey employees paid for each allowance per academic year. Employees are only counted once per academic year against each supplementary allowance they have been in receipt of. Employees may have more than one allowance in any academic year, and one-off payments are included.

This includes any employee that has been paid against the Supplementary Allowance Codes as listed on the pay scales page (please see the link below), irrespective of whether they are on the teacher pay scale.
