Contact details of person responsible.

B

Cost of contracts and ongoing support costs.

Response

A

All States of Jersey contracts that come up for tender are advertised on our portal which also provides all the information required, including contact details.

The portal enables you to register your company and the suppliers section will ask for information regarding your organisation and apply categories for the type of work you are interested in tendering for.

When a tender then comes up, it will look at the categories and send to those companies registered within that category.

Registering and tender opportunities

Article 33 (b) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 allows an authority to refuse a request for information where its disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the commercial interests of a person (including the scheduled public authority holding the information).

In this instance, we believe that information relating to specific contracts is commercially sensitive. Any disclosure would be likely to harm the commercial interests of both Information Services and the third party provider. The reason for this is that disclosure would affect the ability to negotiate future contracts with the current and potential suppliers.
