Please tell me how much money is spent by the government of Jersey on taxis in Jersey. Please break this down by department. I would like a specific answer broken down by teams for Social Workers including the Complex needs team. Thank you.
Clarification Received:
Please provide the information for the last 5 years, and the current spend this year.
Response
Using paid invoices the attached table summarises invoice spend for the last five years and the current year to date.

Any taxi journeys purchased using a purchase card or claimed back through the expenses process are not included in these figures, due to the need to extract relevant data from a large number of records that would need to be searched manually. To retrieve and extract that additional information would take in excess of the 12.5 hours prescribed in the Freedom of Information regulations, and therefore Article 16 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 has been applied.
It should be noted that the figure for Heath and Care Jersey includes Patient Travel.
Article applied
Article 16 - A scheduled public authority may refuse to supply information if cost excessive
(1) A scheduled public authority that has been requested to supply information may refuse to supply the information if it estimates that the cost of doing so would exceed an amount determined in the manner prescribed by Regulations.
