​Clothier reforms

A ministerial system of government was introduced in Jersey in December 2005.

The Clothier Report into the Island's machinery of government made wide-ranging recommendations for change.

The form of ministerial government used in Jersey today grew from these Clothier proposals.

Electoral Commission

Privileges and Procedures Committee debated proposition P.5/2012 on 7 March 2012 and the membership and terms of reference of the Electoral Commission were agreed by the States.
