Statistics Jersey is the National Statistics Office for Jersey, established under the Statistics and Census (Jersey) Law 2018.
It operates independently and is led by the Chief Statistician, who oversees its work and ensures compliance with professional statistical standards.

Responsibilities
Their main responsibilities include:
- publishing key data on Jersey’s economy and population, including inflation, house prices, migration, and census results
- conducting regular surveys, such as the Annual Business Survey, Household Spending and Income, and the Jersey Opinions and Lifestyle Survey
- using existing administrative data where possible to reduce duplication
