Homelessness
If you're at risk of losing your home, you should seek advice immediately. Early action can prevent you from becoming homeless. Do not give up your home without seeking appropriate advice first. You should seek immediate advice if you're homeless or believe you may lose your accommodation.
If you're worried about becoming homeless, you can find out whether you are eligible and apply for social housing through the Housing Gateway. If you're eligible, you will be accepted onto the waiting list and placed in a priority band dependent on your circumstances.
The Housing Gateway can assess your situation, give initial advice and direct you to other services if you're not eligible for social housing.
