​About Havre Des Pas bathing pool

The bathing pool is a large sea water pool to the east of town.

The Polar Bears Swimming Club (affiliated to Jersey Swimming Club) is based at the pool and swim throughout the year.

The pool offers Jersey’s only deep water pitch for water polo. Events hosting visiting teams take place during the summer.

The Christmas Day swim takes place each year at 11am.

Opening hours and prices

The pool is accessible all year round free of charge, with lifeguards on duty during:

• May half term
• weekends in June and July daily 
• the school summer holidays from 10am to 6pm daily
  

Bathing pool facilities

The facilities at Havre Des Pas are:

• changing rooms
• freshwater showers
• café and bar (available for private hire)
• toddler pool (uncovers at low tide)
• sun bathing terrace
• defibrillator

There is no parking at the bathing pool.

​The closest public car park is in Green Street and there is limited disc parking in Cleveland Road and Roseville Street.

Private hire

Private parties and corporate events can be catered for by The Lido.
