Auction of vehicle registration numbers on Saturday 10 June

25 May 2017

Short or easy to remember number plates are up for auction at 10.30am on Saturday 10 June 2017 at the Great Hall at Highlands College (doors open at 9am).

J002 is amongst the numbers up for auction and is already creating a lot of interest.

There are also some sequential numbers which usually prove popular with couples, families or businesses for their fleet vehicles. These include :

  • J8047
  • J8048
  • JSY38
  • JSY39
  • JSY202
  • JSY203
  • JSY204

There are also some very attractive 6 digits such as J191919.

There are 58 numbers in all.

Deputy Eddie Noel, Minister for Infrastructure, said “I think J002 should prove quite a draw to our annual auction and will hopefully raise some much needed funds for my Department together with the other memorable number plates on offer.”

As well as annual auctions, Driver and Vehicle Standards (DVS) also has an online list for reservation of five and six digit registration numbers available for purchase for £250 at DVS offices.

Income from auction sales pays for essential DVS equipment and other transport related items.

View the registration plate numbers on the Jersey Auctioneers website.
