School bus routes timetables

The following bus routes and timetables are available on the LibertyBus website:

Avanchi18

Discounted unlimited bus travel is available to Jersey residents under the age of 19 with the Avanchi18 pass.  It can be obtained from the LibertyBus Customer Service Centre at Liberation Station, St Helier.

Student Avanchicard

The Student Avanchicard travel pass remains available to those in full-time education who are aged 19 and over, and to young people who opt not to purchase the Avanchi18 travel pass. It offers a discount compared to the use of cash when paying for bus travel, and can be purchased from the LibertyBus Customer Service Centre at Liberation Station, St Helier.

Definition of a school journey

A school journey is defined as travelling from home to school, or from school to home, on the school bus service and LibertyBus scheduled services. If your school journey involves more than one bus trip, you can change buses without paying again.

• £1.03 per school journey using a Student Avanchicard
• £1.08 per school journey using a contactless bank card
• £1.30 per school journey using cash

When your payment is processed by the driver, you will be issued with a ticket. You must keep this ticket. It can be used to catch a second bus to complete your school journey.
