About the project
Parts of St Helier currently have a combined sewer system. This means that foul and surface water are drained by the same pipe.
The aim of this project is to separate the surface water from the combined sewer system which has significant long-term benefits.
We’ll carry out Phase 2 and 3 of the works from 21 July to 1 September 2025. Phase 1 was completed in 2024.
In Phase 2, we’ll install a new surface water pipe in the junction of:
- Rouge Bouillon
- Trinity Road
- Springfield Road
- Val Plaisant
The new surface water pipe installation will continue up Trinity Road during Phase 3.
