About the project
Parts of St Helier currently have a combined sewer system. This means that foul and surface water are drained by the same pipe.
The aim of this project is to separate the surface water from the combined sewer system which has significant long-term benefits.
We’ll carry out Phase 3 from 5 August to 1 September 2025. This final phase includes the installation of a new surface water pipe continuing up Trinity Road as far as the junction with Dongola Road. A full road closure of this section will be in place for the duration of the works.
Phase 2 was completed on 4 August 2025 and Phase 1 was completed in 2024.
