All dogs aged six months or more must be licensed each year under the Dogs (Jersey) Law 1961. Each licence is specific to one dog and cannot be transferred to another dog. You do not need a licence if the dog is:
- younger than six months old
- used solely by a blind or deaf person for their guidance Under the Dogs (Jersey) Law 1961
If you own a dog aged six months or more, each year you are required to apply for a dog licence by January 31st.
The standard dog licence fee is £10 per dog, a late application fee (made after January 31st ) is £20.
If you need to renew your dog licence and all details remain the same as the previous year, this can be done via phone and no application form is required, please call the Parish Hall on 01534 735864.
Payments can also be made via the Parish website https://stsaviour.je/make-online-payment/
For a new dog or if your details have changed, it is important that you complete an application form and these are returned to us along with your payment.
For more information and application forms for a licence, please contact the Parish Hall via email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone on 01534 735864.
