I request copies of the financial statements of the Jersey Gas Company for 1990 to 2020.

Response

Please see attached copies of the accounts of Jersey Gas, as held by the States Greffe. The accounts for 1992 and 2020 are not held and Article 10 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 applies.

Separate accounts for 2005 and 2006 are not held as one set of accounts is held due to a change in year end.

Article 10 - Obligation of scheduled public authority to confirm or deny holding information

(1) Subject to paragraph (2), if –

(a) a person makes a request for information to a scheduled public authority; and

(b) the authority does not hold the information it must inform the applicant accordingly.

This response has been issued on behalf of the States Greffe. The States Greffe is responsible for the information held by (and on behalf of) both itself and the States Assembly. Neither the States Assembly nor the States Greffe form part of the Government of Jersey and the Government was not involved either in the examination and retrieval of any information required for this response, nor in the drafting of the response itself.
