Restrictions on your driving licence
If your driving licence has restrictions they’ll be displayed on your licence as a code. This could be for example, if you have a medical condition or drive an adapted vehicle.
You can find the restriction codes in column 12 on your driving licence.
Restriction codes and what they mean
The list below displays the main restriction codes.
For any restrictions that are not shown in this table, you should refer to the first 2 digits of the code shown. These will correspond to a code below.
