You can pay your instalment using:

Over the telephone
To pay over the phone using a debit card, call us on freephone 0800 0237087.
We don’t accept credit cards for instalment plan payments.
Direct debit
You can’t pay instalment plans by direct debit.
Cheque
You can pay by cheque addressed to Social Security.
We must receive your cheque seven days before your contributions are due, so that the payment can be processed in time.
You’ll be charged if the cheque bounces. We don't accept post-dated cheques.
Social Security cashier's desk (at Customer and Local Services)
From 1 March, if you’re unable to pay using other methods, you can pay up to £1,000 in cash at the Social Security cashier's desk.
