The Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 is designed to make us more accountable and transparent in the way we operate and make decisions. It gives you the right to access information held by us. All you have to do is ask.
You can use this information for a wide range of things, including:
- learning more about how the government and public authorities work in Jersey
- taking part in debates about issues that may affect you or your family
- helping you to develop ideas or inform your business decisions
