Alun specialises in intensive care medicine, including obstetric anaesthesia and analgesia, regional anaesthesia, sedation and ultrasound guided intravenous access.

Subspecialty interests include critical care echocardiography and pre-operative assessment.

Training

Alun graduated from The University of Liverpool in 2003. He undertook post graduate training in Merseyside and Western Australia.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine and entered the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register for both in 2014.

MBChB, FRCA, FFICM, EDIC
