Anish Shah sees private patients at the Little Grove Clinic and Jersey General Hospital eye clinic.

Specialty

Anish specialises in vitreoretinal and complex cataract surgery, management of retinal conditions and interpretation of retinal diagnostics.

Training

Anish attended St Michael’s School in Jersey and subsequently Winchester College. In 1999 he won a scholarship to read medicine at Imperial College in London.

After qualifying, he won a place on the London Deanery’s highly competitive ophthalmology training scheme. For six years he underwent higher surgical training in all ophthalmic subspecialties (cataract surgery, glaucoma, corneal disease, medical/surgical retina, neuro-ophthalmology, uveitis, paediatric ophthalmology).

In 2013 Anish secured a retinal fellowship at the prestigious Sussex Eye Hospital in Brighton, where he underwent intensive training in vitreoretinal and complex cataract surgery, management of retinal conditions, and interpretation of retinal diagnostics.
