David is a general paediatrician, treating patients from birth to 17 years of age.

He manages patients in the Neonatal Unit, Robin Ward and outpatients. Being a general paediatrician he maintains his skills and knowledge broadly, but he does have an interest in allergy.

Training

David trained at the University of Cape Town. He then undertook postgraduate training in the UK and South Africa and completed his registrar training at Red Cross Children’s Hospital in Cape Town in 2004.

He was admitted to the College of Paediatrics of South Africa in 2004 and the Royal College of Paediatrics in 2005.

Qualifications

MBChB, RCP(SA), FRCPCH(UK)
