Jose specialises in all aspects of general ENT such as ear surgery, voice surgery, paediatric ENT, salivary gland and thyroid surgery.

His subspecialty is in rhinology (nose and sinuses) and facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

Training

Jose undertook formal specialty training in ear, nose and throat surgery (emphasis in otology) at the Military University Hospital in Bogota, Colombia.

In 2006, he subspecialised in rhinology, endoscopic sinus surgery and facial plastic surgery at Imperial College/ Charing Cross Hospital in London.

He was awarded his Fellowship by the Royal College Of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2009, Certificate of Completion of Training Equivalence by the GMC in 2013 and Board Certificate in Facial Plastic Surgery by the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery in 2014.
