Matthew Stephenson sees private patients at The Elite Surgical Centre, Lido Medical Centre.

Specialty

Matt specialises in breast surgery, including complex oncoplastic reconstructive breast surgery. He also performs aesthetic (cosmetic) breast surgery such as augmentations and reductions and gynaecomastia.

His general surgery interests include hernias, skin surgery (especially skin oncology), laparoscopic cholecystectomy, abdominal pain, pilonidal disease and toenail surgery.

Training

Matt graduated from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, Imperial College, in London and qualified in 2003.

He trained in various hospitals in London and the South East of England and has written a number of medical textbooks including the bestseller How to Operate.

Matt is among 22 UK cosmetic surgeons who has certification from the Royal College of Surgeons to undertake cosmetic surgery.
