Seasonal parking and Season Tickets

The following car parks are chargeable between 1 April and 30 September each year and free between 1 October and 31 March each year:

  • layby 5, 6 and 7 on Victoria Avenue
  • La Perquage, La Route de la Haule
  • La Mielle, St Aubin​
  • Midbay​​, St Brelade's Bay​
  • Tams, St Brelade's Bay
  • Woodford, St Brelade's Bay​
  • Victoria House

Season tickets

A season ticket is a calendar monthly way of paying for your long stay parking, which means you don't have to remember to buy paycards. 

Cost

A season ticket costs £156.66 per month.

An eco-friendly season ticket costs £78.33 per month.

You may use a season ticket in any all-day car parks:

  • First Tower
  • Green Street multi-storey
  • Inn on the Park
  • Les Jardins
  • Midvale Road
  • Nelson Street
  • Patriotic Street multi-storey (except Hospital patient and visitor level)
  • People's Park
  • Pier Road multi-storey (except level 1)
  • Route du Fort
  • Red Houses upper north, St Brelade​
  • Rue des Pres

Where you can buy a season ticket​

​You can buy a season ticket from:​

  • Parking Control Office in Sand Street car park 
  • ​St Ouen post office
  • Quennevais post office
  • Broad Street​ post office​
  • All Co-op stores post office counters
  • half price eco season tickets are only available from Parking Control Office in Sand Street car park

Season ticket validity

Season tickets are valid from the first day of the month until the last day of the month. ​

You must make sure that you display the corre​ct season ticket from 8am on the morning of the first day of each month, otherwise you'll be issued with a parking fine. 

Half Season Ticket​

A monthly half season ticket pays for your parking for a month in one of the public car parks which are further from the centre of St Helier. ​

These car parks are charged at half the normal rate (one unit for up to two hours).

Half season ticket cost​

A half season ticket costs £78.33 per month. 

An Eco-friendly half season ticket costs £39.17 per month.

Half season ticket car parks

You may use a half season ticket in the following car parks:​

  • Goose Green
  • layby 1, 2, 3 and 4 on Victoria Avenue
  • layby 5, 6 and 7 on Victoria Avenue*
  • La Collette
  • La Mielle, St Aubin*
  • La Perquage, La Route de la Haule*​
  • Le Boulevard, St Aubin
  • Midbay, St Brelade's Bay* 
  • St Aubin, adjacent to Parish Hall
  • Tams, St Brelade's Bay*
  • Victoria House*
*Chargeable between 1 April and 30 September each year. Free between 1 October and 31 March.

Where you can buy a half season ticket from

They can only be bought from the Parking Control Office in Sand Street car park.

Half season ticket validity​

You must make sure that you display the correct season ticket from 8am on the morning of the first day of each month otherwise you will be issued with a parking fine. 

How to display the Season Ticket

Display your season ticket or half season ticket on the left hand side of your windscreen, making sure that it won't fall off or slip down​. ​

You must make sure all the details can be seen from outside the vehicle otherwise you may be issued with a parking fine.  

Benefits​​ of season tickets and half season tickets

You save money if you park for nine hours a day Monday to Friday, and even more if you come into St Helier on a Saturday. ​

It also means you don't have to use paycards or the PayByPhone app, ​which makes parking easier. ​

​Lo​st season tickets and half season ticket​

If you lose or damage your season ticket or half season ticket, you must either buy a new one, use paycards or PaybyPhone for the rest of the month. 

Lost, stolen or damaged season tickets will not be replaced.
