About the project
As part of our ongoing essential highway maintenance, Infrastructure and Environment (IE) will undertake work along Rue d’Aval and La Ruette de Faldouet in St Martin.
Patch repairs will be undertaken to strengthen the carriageway. The patch repairs will take place from 7.30am to 6pm on weekdays for 2 weeks, weather permitting.
The road will be closed from 3 April to 12 April 2024 between 9am and 2.30pm.
Lane closures will be in place from 2 April to 12 April 2024 outside of peak hours.
Following the patch repairs, a surface treatment will be applied to this section of carriageway. The road will be closed from 1 June to 2 June 2024 between 7.30am and 6pm. Works will take place during the weekends to minimise disruption to school buses.
Access chamber covers and gullies will then be reset between 4 June and 17 June 2024. Where chambers are in the middle of the carriageway, road closures will be required, otherwise works will take place under lane closures.
The working hours for road closures will be from 9am to 2.30pm.
Where lane closures can be undertaken safely, the working hours will be from 9am to 6pm. The surface treatment will be laid on the weekend of 1 to 2 June 2024 from 7.30am to 6pm.
After the surface treatment is laid the road will be closed to reinstate road markings on 18 June 2024 between 9am and 2.30pm.
