The following events are free to attend.
|University course presentations evening|
|Talks start from 5pm onwards||Highlands College||Presentations giving information on courses, how to apply, funding and employment will be held the evening before the Higher Education Fair.|
|The Higher Education Fair||22 March||1.30pm to 6pm||Hotel de France||This free event provides you with the opportunity to talk to universities (on-Island, UK and overseas) and employers, who offer work based training.|
|The Jersey Skills Show||20 October||TBC||Fort Regent||This free event aims to bring skills to life and gives attendees the chance to learn about education, training and careers in an engaging and inspiring way.|
Information days are free to attend and aimed at students in year 12 to 13 with any additional spaces allocated to adults not in education.

Entrepreneurial skill development
|Young Enterprise Company Programme ||September to May||Opportunity for year 12 students from all secondary schools and Highlands College to experience the reality of starting a business, under the guidance of mentors from local organisations. |

Trident work experience
All Jersey secondary school students participate in the Trident work experience scheme during Year 10 or 11. It provides a unique opportunity to experience working life while still at school.

Advance Plus schemes
Advance Plus is a range of industry specific schemes to help unemployed adults (aged 20+) back into work. The 10-week schemes combine training and a work placement.
