New Exhibition: A Cartographic History of the Channel Islands.

Jersey Library Gallery

A collection of some of the maps featured in the new book, A Cartographic History of the Channel Islands, to be published by the Clear Vue Publishing Partnership in 2018.   The maps date from 1473 to 1944, showing how perceptions of the islands have changed over the centuries alongside their actual development.

​Student Finance Consultation

Students, families, employers and the public are being asked for their views of a new student finance package that was announced in the Budget speech. A consultation is taking place between 11 December and 12 January.

Before and after Christmas, there will be drop-in events at Jersey Library where officers from the Education Department and the Treasury will be available to answer questions.

People can also comment through a short online survey.

An A4 information sheet is available and more details can be found on the Higher education funding proposal webpage.
