Minimum wage consultation launched

The Minister for Social Security has launched a consultation looking at the way the process for setting and uprating the Island’s minimum wage is carried out. The consultation is being published as part of the 2021 Government Plan.

Anti-discrimination law for tenants proposed

The Minister for Social Security, Deputy Judy Martin has launched a public consultation to amend the Discrimination Law to include a ban on landlords from discriminating against tenants with children.

Mobile Library temporarily out of service

Jersey’s Mobile Library will be out of service until Monday 29 March due to a mechanical problem which requires new parts to arrive from Europe.

The Customer and Local Services (CLS) building in La Motte Street is closed to drop-in customers.

All services are available over the phone on +44 (0)1534 444444, by email customerservice@gov.je or using our online services. 

We fully appreciate how important it is to support those members of our community with more complex enquiries who may need to see someone face-to-face and our team can arrange appointments where necessary, by calling us on +44 (0)1534 444444.

To protect our customers, we are focusing on how we make services easier to access. We will only be requesting face-to-face appointments when we can't provide the service online, by email or phone.
